#GivingTuesday 2024 - The Gift of Stories!
This year, for #GivingTuesday, the Copeland Center for Wellness & Recovery is seeking to receive and share the GIFT of stories—your personal reflections on how the Copeland Center and its Doors to Wellbeing's various programs, education, technical assistance, and peer support has impacted your life. We recognize that our organization is a one-of-a-kind organization that brings peer-led messages of transformation for personal well-being and calls for systems transformation. Our organizational story is the collective story of the individual lives of our grass-roots community.
#GivingTuesday is a day dedicated to generosity and giving back, and we know that sharing stories can inspire hope and foster positive change. By sharing your story, you can help us connect with people to understand the transformative potential of peer-led wellness practices and the meaningful impact that the Center’s programs have on our ability to take action for whole health, well-being, and recovery journeys.
The Copeland Center and its Doors to Wellbeing program is known for its commitment to peer support and self-help education, powerful tools that have helped countless individuals take charge of their wellness and build resilience. This #GivingTuesday, the Center aims to elevate real voices by highlighting stories from individuals who have found strength, community, and empowerment through peer support and other wellness initiatives. Whether you've gained valuable self-awareness, learned new coping strategies, or built connections through Copeland Center programs, your story can inspire others to explore these supportive resources.
By contributing your story, you’re not only celebrating your own journey but also helping to strengthen a community dedicated to whole health, well-being, and recovery. Each story shared will help us reach a wider audience, demonstrating that wellness and recovery are possible for everyone! Your voice could be the encouragement someone else needs to seek support, explore new wellness tools, and find their path to healing. Mental health is central to whole health and we are here because wellness and peer support are about building community, not a commodity!
