We're combining Copeland Center Membership with the Membership for the Association for Peer Support (organized by the Copeland Center). Membership is for anyone who wants peer support in their own life and for peer support providers. The values of peer support holds at the heart of our community and work at the Copeland Center.

The Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery creates inclusive environments for personal growth & exploration. We champion the peer perspective, educate on best practices, and advocate for a diversity of pathways toward well-being. Our work creates a ripple effect of positive change, transforming lives and communities by nurturing a culture of wellness, recovery, and resilience. For Individuals

$45/ year - As a member, you will unlock a range of benefits and opportunities, including:

Organizational Membership

The Association for Peer Support (APS) is a membership-driven organization rooted in a simple but powerful belief: people with lived experience are uniquely positioned to help one another heal, grow, and thrive.

We offer three types of annual organizational memberships. Each membership includes access for up to 10 individual peer support specialists within your organization.

Annual Organizational Membership Options
•    Peer-Run Organization: $200
•    Nonprofit Organization: $300
•    For-Profit Organization: $450

If your organization would like to include more than 10 individuals, additional members may be added for $35 per person per year.

Why Organizational Membership Matters

When a former national peer organization dissolved, the peer support community reached out. APS stepped forward—not to replace what was lost, but to help carry the work forward with care, integrity, and deep respect for the values that define peer support.

This field was built by people with lived experience, and it continues to grow because of their courage, wisdom, and dedication.

Today, peer support is the fastest-growing direct service workforce in behavioral health care. It also remains at the heart of the Copeland Center’s mission—grounded in hope, mutuality, and the belief that recovery is real and possible for everyone.

Organizational members, sponsors, and affiliates play a vital role in sustaining a unified national peer support movement. These partnerships also help support scholarships for individual members in financial need.

Organizational Membership Benefits

Access to Exclusive Resources:
Your team will receive full access to APS’s extensive library of educational materials, toolkits, and wellness resources designed to support both individual and organizational growth.
Members can also access the private membership section of our website and participate in monthly member events focused on wellness, recovery, and mental health.
All event participants receive certificates of attendance via email, which may be used for continuing education units (CEUs) in certain states. We are happy to work with you on CEU needs as they arise.
Networking and Collaboration:
Connect with a vibrant national network of organizations, practitioners, advocates, and leaders in peer support. Share strategies, innovations, and experiences that drive meaningful change.
Discounts on Events and Workshops:

*Application & Funding Policy*
Organizational memberships, sponsorships, and affiliate partnerships are completed through an application process and invoicing.
We require:
• A primary point of contact supported by the CEO or Executive Director
• A billing contact responsible for issuing payment
Please note: The APS parent organization (501c3) is the Copeland Center for Wellness & Recovery and does not accept pharmaceutical advertisement money.

Peer-Run Sponsor — $800

Non–Peer-Run Organization Sponsor — $1,500

Sustainers — $3,000+

For contributions above $7,500, additional funds will directly support scholarships for individual memberships in financial need, with acknowledgment of your business.

Innovators — $7,500+

•    Exhibit table and two registrations at one conference or summit
•    Up to 6 hours of custom online courses or technical assistance
•    Peer support job announcements
Contributions beyond $7,500 support membership scholarships, with recognition of your organization.

Change Agents — $10,000+
•    Website listing with special recognition at all events
•    Exhibit table and three registrations at one conference or summit
•    Up to 20 hours of custom training or technical assistance
•    Peer support job announcements
•    Opportunity to sponsor an exclusive national webinar
•    10% discount on employee conference or summit registrations
Contributions beyond $10,000 directly support scholarships for individuals in financial need, with acknowledgment of your organization.
