FREE Peer Supported PAD Course

Are you interested in being in the company of peer supporters to begin to think about developing your own legal plan for care in a time of crisis? If so, join us for a FREE six-session (16 hour) course that will support those who attend to begin, complete or revise an advanced directive through a peer support process. The sessions are rooted in peer support and sharing on personal wellness. We will explore many perspectives and individual insights into what works and does not work for us during a medical crisis and ideas for getting the support we need. We will identify plans and important sections of a legal document commonly referred to as an Advanced Directive.

The Copeland Center for Wellness and Recovery, through our SAMHSA Funded National Technical Assistance Center, Doors to Wellbeing is offering this course for the first time to a national audience rather than people from the same state. This will be a wonderful opportunity to not only learn about PAD’s for ourselves, but to learn from each other on PAD insight and information from other places around the country.
