Doors to Wellbeing invites you to join our monthly Peer Specialist Webinar Series. This FREE continuing education opportunity brings experts by experience to expand peer specialist skills, knowledge and best practices. The series is the last Tuesday of every month (except December) at 2pm ET/1pm CT/12pm MT/11am PT

TAY Peer Supporters advocate for and create supportive spaces for their communities while going through critical transitions in their lives. This webinar centers the experiences of these individuals while providing guidance for colleagues on how to help them build and maintain wellness habits that can support them throughout their entire careers. Though the research that informs this webinar focuses on the transitional age group, the skills and strategies discussed can be used at any age or career stage. All are welcome to join for this session that emphasizes personal wellness as a necessary component of community care.

Learning Objectives:

1. Discuss and share successes and challenges within the role of a peer professional.

2. Describe the importance of self-awareness, advocacy, and compassion for creating cultures of wellness.

3. Create action plans for how to enhance wellness in the workplace.
