Dettmer honored with Award
Congratulations Amey Dettmer on being honored with Disruptive Innovator Award! At the 12th Annual International Association of Peer Supporters Conference held in Orlando Florida, Amey Dettmer was honored with the Disruptive Innovator Award. This award honors a young adult who has made a significant transformative contribution to the field of Peer Support through their leadership, programming and activism. As part of the leadership team of Doors to Wellbeing, Amey has united youth and young adults to emerge as our next generation of leaders. She has been part of developing a National Youth Convergence, a Peer Generation curriculum and is a sought after facilitator for Organizational Development. Amey has also co-developed and co-led INAPS Youth and Young Adult Peer Support Committee (YAYAPS). Please join the Copeland Center in congratulating Amey on her award.
