Building and Sharing a Personal Daily Maintenance Plan for Wellbeing
This workshop not only empowers participants to explore creating a personalized Daily Maintenance Plan to support their wellbeing but also equips them with the skills to share with others how to do the same. By exploring how to recognize their best selves, set achievable goals, and develop a daily wellness checklist, participants will learn to maintain their physical, emotional, and mental balance. Additionally, the workshop will provide guidance on how to effectively share these strategies with friends, family, or peers, creating a ripple effect of positive change. Through hands-on activities, reflection, and group discussions, attendees will gain practical tools for both personal wellness and community support.
Learning Objectives:
1. Identify Wellness States: Participants will learn to describe how they feel when they are at their best, and how to recognize or aspire to these states during challenging times.
2. Set Personal Goals: Participants will identify personal goals and strategies to break them into manageable steps, incorporating these into a daily routine.
3. Develop a Daily Wellness Routine: Participants will create a tailored daily maintenance checklist that promotes physical, emotional, and mental well-being, focusing on practical, achievable tasks.
4. Share about Wellbeing to Others: Participants will gain the skills to share others how to build their own Daily Maintenance Plan, offering a peer experience of hope, empowerment, self-determination, and support in their wellbeing journey.
5. Practice Self-Reflection and Mindfulness: Participants will practice techniques for self-reflection, journaling, and mindfulness to promote ongoing self-awareness and personal growth, and will learn how to guide others through these processes.
By the end of this workshop, participants will have not only developed their own wellness plan but also gained the confidence and knowledge to inspire and assist others in creating their own path to wellness.
