Monday, August 31, 2026 at 2:00-3:30PM ET/ 1:00-2:30PM CT/ 12:00-1:30PM MT/ 11:00AM-12:30PM PT

Join certified sound healer, Kelvin Young, CPSRP for an inspiring and experiential workshop that explores recovery through the lens of lived experience, peer support, and sound healing. Kelvin shares his personal journey through addiction, mental health challenges, incarceration, recovery, and healing, illustrating how these experiences became the foundation for purpose, resilience, and transformation.

Participants will learn how peer support and sound healing can complement one another by supporting nervous system regulation, emotional well-being, stress reduction, and connection. The session includes an immersive sound healing experience followed by an interactive Q&A, offering space for reflection, curiosity, and meaningful dialogue.

By the end of this session, participants will be able to:

  • Recognize how lived experience, peer support, and authentic human connection can foster hope, resilience, and recovery.
  • Describe the potential benefits of sound healing as a complementary practice for supporting emotional regulation, stress reduction, and overall well-being in recovery.
  • Experience a sound healing session and identify practical ways to integrate sound into personal or professional recovery journeys.
