No. Supervisor status and training is agency specific. Each agency has their own way of determining how to promote and train supervisors. SC SHARE is presently in the process of helping SC DMH update their process to make supervisor position much more attainable for CPSS's who may lack the Masters degree that they presently require.

Yes, there is a state endorsed certification process of CPSS's. Training remains 100% digital over zoom, but the schedule has shifted to 5 days over zoom for 10 hours each day.

SC SHARE, in partnership with the SC Department of Mental Health and numerous other fully/partially peer-led non-profits, developed and continually refined the training.
