Meet the Team: Todd Noack
Todd Noack, Membership Development Director
Todd is a person with lived experience and started his journey in recovery 16 years ago when he experienced chronic back pain and had multiple surgeries. He was able to find hope through many supports. Todd also has 18 years experience in management and sales in the rent-to-own business as well as the car business.
Todd is now actively involved in all aspects of Mental Health Recovery, having previously opened Iowa’s largest peer run organization, Life Connections Peer Recovery Services, that has operated the only Iowa-based Peer Run Respite House and, for over eight years, an after-hours wellness recovery center.
He keeps up to date with the latest developments in Peer Recovery movements and ongoing changes in his own state and federal capacities involving peer specialists and individuals in recovery. He has navigated and helps individuals and families navigate the resources throughout Iowa and beyond. Todd holds the certified Peer Recovery Specialist (IC&RC) credential, is a 2010 Peer Support Training Academy Graduate in Iowa. Todd can speak to a variety of topics including pain management, available resources for those with mental health issues, and living with mental wellness. Todd is available to share as an expert by experience on addictions recovery from chronic pain in his back as well as mental health recovery.
He hopes to take his position alongside of the Copeland Center to engage peer specialist to have the best fidelity and standards for the profession.
