Meet the Team: Emma Banks
Emma Banks, Program Coordinator for the Western Region
Emma Banks supports recovery and reentry services in her role by providing critical support to reentry coaches, assisting the regional director, and helping ensure the smooth operation of daily program services. From answering questions about services to handling administrative tasks and organizing resources, Emma is a key point of contact for staff and community partners alike.
She holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of California, Davis, where she also served as a research assistant on a qualitative study examining the impact of mass incarceration on aging populations in California. Before stepping into her current role, Emma gained hands-on experience working with local nonprofits focused on community support and care management.
Emma is passionate about building systems of support that empower individuals during the reentry process and is committed to advancing equity and healing through her work.
