Meet the Team: Allie Fernandez

Alexandra Fernandez is the PA Certified Peer Specialist Training Coordinator. Allie comes to the Copeland Center with expertise and experience in Forensic/ re-entry, mental health recovery, and crisis services. She is a Certified Peer Specialist, Peer Specialist Supervisor, and Advanced Level Facilitator.

Allie became connected and invested in this work after experiencing the magic of Peer Support. After being immersed in the core values and ethical guidelines of Peer Support, she immediately knew this is the world she wanted to live in. This magic kept her well and gave her the attitude, skills, and knowledge she needed to support others with their journey of wellness. Every day she is reminded of the power of peer support as she experiences the changes in her personal life and the lives of the peers she has walked with.  

Allie is a mother of three daughters and continues to be an active member of her community in Lehigh County, PA. She continues to share this lifestyle and build strong connections with the Peer world.
