Meet the Advisory Council: TaMara Edens

TaMara Edens is the Director of Mission Impact at FolkTime, a peer-run mental health organization serving communities across Oregon. Through community partnerships, advocacy, and strategic initiatives, she works to elevate lived experience voices and create opportunities for individuals and communities to shape the systems that impact their lives. Prior to joining FolkTime, TaMara worked in farming and culinary arts, experiences that shaped her practical, community-centered belief that meaningful social change happens through relationships with the earth and others, shared experiences, and collective action. TaMara is passionate about preserving the values and integrity of peer support while promoting innovative approaches that foster the regenerative, resilient evolution of community care and mutual support.
