Meet the Advisory Council: Sara Ayoub, PRSS and PRSS-Supervisor

Sara Ayoub, PRSS and PRSS-Supervisor, is a person in recovery from substance use and mental health and currently leads workforce development, peer training, and internship initiatives at Foundation for Recovery in Nevada. Her work focuses on strengthening and expanding the peer support workforce statewide while promoting peer services that remain authentic to the roots and values of the role. Sara is passionate about advancing ethical, person-centered practices that honor individual autonomy, dignity, and lived experience. She is also a dedicated advocate for equitable recovery support systems and services that better serve marginalized and historically underserved communities.
