In this interactive membership event, we will define Mattering and discuss the dual aspects of feeling valued and adding value. Participants will explore the importance of Mattering and the positive impact it can have on our self-esteem, self-worth and in turn our mental health. We will explore a couple of the tools and practical strategies from the mattering toolkit to enhance our own Whole Health and Wellbeing.
Learning Objectives
• Define Mattering and discuss its dual aspects: feeling valued and adding value.
• Explore a couple of the tools and strategies from the Mattering Toolkit that we can utilize to build our self-worth, self-esteem and our whole Health and Wellbeing.
• Understand how individuals can contribute positively to the lives of others and the community
