Waynette Brock Receives Award
Congratulations to Waynette Brock, Copeland Center National Director of Training. Waynette received the 2021 San Mateo County Mental Health & Substance Abuse Recovery Commission George Culores Hall of Fame Award.
Waynette joined the Copeland Center team in 2017 after years of dedication, education, facilitation, and practicing as a WRAP® Advanced Level Co-Facilitator. Waynette joined the Copeland Center as the lead innovator and training consultant to implement our Mentoring for Re-entering program which seeks to support people to live beyond correctional and institutionally controlled settings. Waynette is a local resident and advocate for recovery in San Mateo County, California.
We are proud of her recognition by the Mental Health & Substance Abuse Recovery Commission and the Behavioral Health & Recovery Services Division of San Mateo County for her contributions to better the lives of consumers and/or leadership in the consumer movement, and for sharing her personal journey of recovery to inspire and give hope to others.
