"To Be 'Myself' In A World That Is Constantly Trying To Make 'Me' Something Else Is 'My' Greatest Accomplishment." Paraphrase of Ralph Waldo Emerson. This quote sums up my whole life upon my completion of becoming a WRAP Facilitator where I finally accepted that being myself, the best way that I am able to express who I am, is okay and that it is enough. There were many times growing up I've expressed who I am openly. However, some people took advantage of this while others squashed my expressions over and over again until I lost who I was until recently. Despite my struggles with depression, anxiety and PTSD as well as watched my life not turn out the way I set it out to be; this quote truly says it all. I now have found and accepted who I am as well as express myself the best way I know how to; through all kinds of creative, expressive art. Some expressive art includes colors, drawings, music, crafts and emojis. I've also learned the importance as well as power of language and I'm already succeeding in changing my own language which is outwardly manifesting results. I really hope to support and build others up by me just being me, not just as a WRAP Facilitator which dramatically altered my life, but towards all who I encounter in my life. Being you is enough.
