Clara Meehan
A Senior Occupational Therapist with over twenty-years’ experience working within primary care, mental health and the acute hospital setting. Skilled and competent in the areas of clinical supervision, team working, leadership and service development. Recently returned to education and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Mental Health Promotion at NUIG in May 2020. A dedicated ambassador with the Asthma Society of Ireland advocating for improved services for people with asthma and promoting the work of the Asthma Society at local and national fora. Involved in a research study with Coventry University exploring somatic movement practices and self-care technologies in the management of chronic pain. A Director of a Child and Family Support Service with a passion for community development to promote the health and wellbeing of the local population.
