Course Description: This three day 22.5 hour course is designed specifically for Copeland Center certified Advanced Level WRAP® Facilitators. This refresher is one of the ways that Advanced level Facilitator can keep their certification current. In this training, you will have the opportunity to update your knowledge and skills with data that the Copeland Center and Dr. Mary Ellen Copeland continue to gather through program evaluations and on-going studies. In addition, you can work on enhancing your skills through collective input and peer exchanges of experiential knowledge. In addition, to specific course handouts participants will receive an updated Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator Manual, and WRAP Plus by Mary Ellen Copeland (Dummerston, VT, 2010: Peach Press).

Learning Objectives: Through completion of the 22.5 hour Advanced Level WRAP® Refresher Course participants will be able to:
1. Effectively utilize and implement the new Advanced Level WRAP® Facilitators Instructor Manual when facilitating the Seminar II WRAP Facilitator Course
2. Demonstrate and practice facilitation and mentoring skills in delivery of WRAP courses and technical assistance sessions with participants
3. Apply tools and skills to provide WRAP Refresher courses for WRAP Facilitators
4. Use learned techniques in the strengths-focused feedback process of the WRAP Facilitation course based on the principles of Intentional Peer Support and Mental Health Recovery and WRAP Values and Ethics

The Need for Refreshers: Advanced Level WRAP® Facilitation and WRAP Facilitation are training programs developed and implemented by the Copeland Center for Wellness & Recovery based on ongoing consultation with Mary Ellen Copeland, her associates, Mental Health Recovery and WRAP facilitators and people with a lived experience in recovery. In order to improve skills and stay informed regarding effective approaches to WRAP Facilitation continued learning is imperative. In order to maintain your certification as an Advanced Level Facilitator, you must meet at least one of the following minimum refresher criteria within the last two years:
1. Attend a Copeland Center sponsored Advanced Level WRAP® Facilitator Refresher Course. Advanced Level WRAP® Facilitator refreshers are only provided directly through the Copeland Center. WRAP Facilitator courses must be provided by an Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator to be recognized by the Center. To verify the status of a facilitator contact us at info@copelandcenter.com;
2. Facilitate WRAP® in a Copeland Center sponsored training under the mentorship of a designated Copeland Center Advanced Level WRAP Facilitator (limited opportunities available): For more information regarding opportunities for this mentoring opportunity contact info@copelandcenter.com;
3. Full attendance at the Copeland Center 2011 World conference, including one full day Institute on WRAP® Facilitation (http://copelandcenter.com/conference).
